Overview

Vitamin C, when applied topically, safeguards the skin from free radicals that are produced when the skin is exposed to the sun. It also has the ability to prevent the skin from aging! The Department of Dermatology at the Tulane University School of Medicine discovered and supports the topical use of cosmeceuticals containing Vitamin C as an effective anti-aging antioxidant in skin care.

LaVigne Organic Skincare’s Vitamin C Serum contains Ascorbic Acid Polypeptide as well as Avocado, Rosehip and Vitamin E Oils for added nourishment. it also includes Glycolic and Alpha Lipoic Acids as well as Tepezcohuite. It absorbs well, without the "sticky" feel that some Vitamin C products will leave on the skin. In addition, 5% Vitamin C, when applied topically on facial acne, produced a more significant reduction in inflammatory and non-inflammatory lesion counts than acne treatment "Clindamycin."
